Viscose is a journal for fashion criticism. Working closely with the Editor-in-chief, Creative Director, and Art Director, I crafted a mood board synthesizing my image research (archival, iconographic, and visual/written media) to help expand this issue's ethos with a strong visual language for the cover and interior spreads. With this issue focusing on fashion as constructed through words, language, and writing, I also created early cover mockups, concentrating on the scanned texture of physical writing and seeing the text as an image, even in its most direct and simplistic form. I also assisted in image selection and editing for selected sections.
