Viscose is a journal for fashion criticism. Working closely with the Editor-in-chief, Creative Director, and Art Director, I crafted a mood board synthesizing my image research (archival, iconographic, and visual/written media) to help expand this issue's ethos with a strong visual language for the cover and interior spreads. With this issue focusing on fashion's enduring bond with scent and perfume, I focused my image research on the physical design of perfume bottles and their packaging, the methods of advertising scents across history, and the ways scent is described and symbolized. I also assisted in image selection and editing for selected sections.
