The 2022 release of the six-part podcast series 'stroke my ego' ushered in a new foundation for my sonic world-making, giving listeners an intimate peek into my thoughts. I sonically stitched fragmented anecdotes, distorted vocals, moments of laughter, and profound reflections on my identity. Blurring the lines between introspection and conversation, I forged a way to emulate the chaotic messiness a mind can hold. Following the release of 'stroke my ego' with a crafted social media rollout, my podcast, a coming of age, but irl, charted in over 30 countries worldwide (Apple Podcast) and was in the Top 15% of most followed & Top 30% of most shared podcasts globally on Spotify in 2022.

Inspired by my love for music interludes, I experimented with more Lo-Fi and non-traditional recording methods, sound design, and scoring within this podcast series.

The visual direction utilized muted yet bold shades of blues and textures to provide a great sense of nostalgia and age yet showcase a new understanding of where I am now in my exploration of queerness. Drawing from Nollywood's modes of digital media, I explore visual storytelling and modes of identity construction through self-portraiture and video art. The visuals have been used for social media promotion (short-form visuals and stills) as well as a Single Chanel Presentation for a Group Stanford Exhibition.
