To creatively celebrate the one-year anniversary of my sound art project, STROKE_MY_EGO_RE.MIXED, I crafted and sound-designed a mix, which is archived on Stemlines’ Dublab Internet Radio Show, The More You Look. Inspired by the sonic textures of southern hip-hop radio stations, SME_R.MX.mp3 transforms the journey of STROKE_MY_EGO_RE.MIXED into a dynamic mix beyond genre to emulate the emotional and topical sensibility of Osadolor’s becoming. Parts of the original project are sprinkled throughout the mix in addition to new vocal interludes.
